Warranty Policy
Last updated: 26 January 2025
If our workmanship ever lets you down, we come back and make it right. That's the whole policy in one line: the rest of this page spells out exactly what's covered, what isn't, and how to lodge a claim.
Workmanship Warranty
Every repair and every fit-up we do carries a lifetime workmanship guarantee: it lasts for as long as the vehicle stays yours. If any of these show up, that's on us:
- Water getting in where the glass was fitted
- Wind whistle traced back to how the glass was installed
- The windscreen coming away from the frame
- Adhesive breaking down under normal driving conditions
- Cracks caused by stress from the installation itself
Glass Product Warranty
On top of our workmanship guarantee, the glass itself comes with its manufacturer's warranty, which generally covers:
- Faults in how the glass was made
- Clouding or delamination developing between the layers
- Heated elements that fail: rear demisters and heated windscreens
- Faulty integration with factory rain sensors and similar built-in features
Warranty periods differ from one manufacturer to the next. We only fit OEM-grade glass certified to AS/NZS 2080, the Australian safety standard for automotive glazing.
Chip Repair Warranty
A chip we've repaired is guaranteed for the life of that windscreen. The warranty kicks in if:
- A crack spreads out from the repaired spot without any new impact
- The resin in the repair fails
Either way, you're covered: we redo the repair free of charge, or put what you paid towards a full replacement if the screen can't be saved.
What Is Not Covered
The guarantee covers our work, not what the road throws at you afterwards. It excludes damage from:
- Collisions and new impacts
- Stones and debris flicked up off the road
- Vandalism and break-in attempts
- Hail, storms and other severe weather
- Misuse or rough treatment of the vehicle
- Changes made to the vehicle after we finished the job
- Everyday wear, such as fine wiper scratches
- Cracks caused by structural damage elsewhere in the vehicle
- Existing damage you didn't mention when booking
ADAS Calibration Warranty
Our ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations are guaranteed against calibration faults for 30 days from the service date. If a warning light appears or a system misbehaves because of our calibration in that window, we come back and recalibrate for free.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Spotted a problem? Here's the drill:
- Get in touch: call or email and tell us what's happening
- Give us your details: name, phone number and roughly when we did the original job
- Snap some photos of the issue if you can
- Pick a time for us to take a look: we're mobile, so we come to you
- We inspect and confirm whether it falls under warranty
Warranty Claim Process
- Raise the issue within a reasonable time of noticing it
- An inspection of the vehicle may be needed to work out what caused it
- If it's a genuine warranty fault, the fix costs you nothing
- If it falls outside warranty, we'll quote the repair so you can decide
Transferability
The workmanship guarantee belongs to you, the customer who booked the job; it can't be passed on with the vehicle. It stays in force for the whole time you own that vehicle.
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing here takes away from your rights under Australian Consumer Law; this guarantee sits alongside them. Consumer guarantees on our goods and services can't be excluded, and for a major failure you're entitled to a replacement or refund, plus compensation for any other loss or damage that was reasonably foreseeable.
