Cancellation Policy

Life happens: a shifted shift, a sick kid, a meeting that runs over. Here's how cancelling and rescheduling works for our mobile windscreen service around Liverpool, and the one situation where a fee can come into it.

Rescheduling Your Appointment

Moving a booking costs nothing, as long as we hear from you in time:

  • More than 24 hours out: Pick any other available slot, free of charge
  • On the day: We'll shuffle things where we can: it depends on where our technicians are

Cancellation Notice

All we ask is fair warning so we can offer your slot to someone else:

  • 24 hours or more: Cancel free: no fee, no questions
  • Under 24 hours: A fee may apply to cover the travel we've already committed to
  • Under 2 hours: A fee of up to $50 can apply

Genuine emergency? Just tell us what's going on. We're reasonable people and we'll sort something out.

No-Shows

We treat a booking as a no-show when:

  • Our technician turns up as arranged but neither you nor the vehicle is there
  • The vehicle can't be reached: behind a locked gate, for instance, or with no way to park near it
  • You can't be raised by phone within 15 minutes of the booked time

A no-show can attract a fee of up to $75, which goes towards the technician's time and travel. Before anyone drives off, though, we'll always try to reach you first.

Weather and Delays

Fitting a windscreen properly depends on conditions; the adhesive needs the right environment to cure safely:

  • Rain: If there's no way to keep the work area dry, the job may need a new date
  • Heat: On scorching days we may shift the time so the adhesive isn't curing in the worst of it
  • When it's on us: If we have to postpone for weather or anything unexpected, you'll hear from us straight away and jump the queue for the next slot, at no cost

Parts Availability

Now and then the exact glass for your vehicle isn't sitting on a supplier's shelf. If that happens, we'll call before your appointment and rebook you for when it lands. Rescheduling because of parts never costs you anything.

Insurance Claim Cancellations

Booking that hinges on an insurance approval which stalls or gets knocked back? Let us know as early as you can. There's no fee for cancelling an insurance-dependent booking, as long as you reach us before our technician is on the road.

Refund Policy

Once a job is done:

  • A refund applies where there's a defect our warranty covers
  • Changing your mind after the work is finished isn't grounds for a refund
  • Not happy with something? Tell us: fixing it is always our first move

Where a deposit or advance payment is involved:

  • Cancel with more than 24 hours notice and your deposit comes back in full
  • Cancel late and the deposit can either roll over to a future booking or be kept as the cancellation fee
